VIDEO – Watch Elliot Anderson & Matty Longstaff score again to make it 9 goals in 27 starts

Newcastle United duo Elliot Anderson and Matty Longstaff have been at it again over the Easter weekend.

Anderson scored another lovely goal to hand Bristol Rovers a 1-0 win over Salford on Good Friday, with his emphatic low finish keeping Joe Barton’s side in with a slim chance of earning automatic promotion to League One.

The 19-year-old now has four goals and an assist in his last seven games for The Gas and looks levels above League Two, bagging five goals and setting up three in 16 starts.

As for Matty, his goal came in a 3-2 defeat to play-off rivals Sutton on Friday afternoon, with him scoring in the 97th minute to make it four goals and two assists in 11 starts for Mansfield.
