New owners involved in unforgettable scenes at St James’ Park as must-watch footage emerges

If six home wins in a row wasn’t enough already, we were also treated to some unforgettable scenes after last night’s match at St James’ Park.

Not only was club chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan spotted waving a ‘Wor Flag’ in the Milburn Stand ahead of kick off, he was filmed having a kick about with Mehrdad Ghodoussi and Jamie Reuben shortly after the players left the pitch!

Amanda Staveley was also in attendance, but probably made the wise move not get on the ball given she was in her heels!

After that, all four then took to the Newcastle United dressing room and got involved in what has to be the best team photo yet, seeing staff, players and owners all celebrate that 1-0 win over Crystal Palace – a victory that sent us on the brink of the top 10, up to the 40 points mark and closer to the Europe than the bottom three!

You can see all of the brilliant footage below, starting with their post-match kick around and ending with the magical photo from the NUFC dressing room:

  1. I can honestly see these guys investing heavily in the stadium (and training facilities). They have really bought into the passion of the Geordie fans & embarrassed it.
Our ground is old and falling to bits in places – I think they will showcase our fans to the world. Don’t know if that’s major refurb or SJP or look to build a new stadium – but it’s going to be fun to watch ??.
