In an interview with Sky Sports, Allan Saint-Maximin implored players across Europe to join this “exciting” new project at Newcastle, talking up the city, our supporters and our ambitious new owners.
The Frenchman has been a subject of controversy in recent times with many several outlets linking him with a £50million move away from Tyneside, while some fans on social media have been frustrated with his lack of end product.
However, the 25-year-old has expressed just how happy he is at the club and only recently was ‘blown away’ by the display dedicated to him put on by Wor Flags prior to our game against Crystal Palace.
After a resounding victory at Norwich, the talented winger was full of excitement for the direction the club is going in – suggesting he plans to stay next year – and claimed that “we’ll start to be one of the best teams in the Premier League” before long.
