Agent meets NUFC chiefs to discuss £40m deal as club are offered explosive winger - Report
According to new reports, Newcastle United have been offered the chance to sign Watford star Ismaila Sarr this summer.
This comes via FootballTransfers, as Jacque Talbot's latest 'exclusive' claims that two of the player's representatives recently met with Toon chiefs in London to discuss a potential move to St James' Park.
The report reveals that Sarr's agent Saif Rubie - along with Senegalese representative Thierno Seydi - held talks with the club 'last month', with the 24-year-old keen to leave the relegation threatened Hornets this summer.
Watford are expected to demand around £40m for the former Rennes winger, who has bagged 24 goals and 18 assists in 91 appearances since he arrived from France three seasons ago.
Interestingly, Sarr's agent also represents recently linked defender Antonio Rudiger, however FootballTransfers insist that last month's meeting did not centre around any move for the German - who looks set to join Real Madrid from Chelsea.
