Jesse Lingard hands NUFC fresh boost as four clubs battling for bargain deal go public – Report

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard is in ‘advanced talks’ with two of Newcastle United, PSG, AC Milan and Juventus as he prepares to leave Old Trafford for good.

The 29-year-old has reportedly ‘ruled out’ any possibility of incoming manager Erik Ten Hag convincing him to stay at the club and is ready to leave as a free agent, ending any hopes of a late U-turn.

We were heavily linked with the England international back in January, but a collapsed after Man United demanded a ridiculous loan fee if we were to survive the relegation battle.

After 22 years at his boyhood club, the goal scoring midfielder is set to call it a day after feeling let down by multiple managers over the assurance of his playing time.

So, it looks like it could be a shootout between Newcastle and three European giants. Will he favour a move to PSG, AC Milan or Juve instead, or could he value another crack at Premier League football that would see him stay close to his family in the North West?

The former World Cup semi-finalist will be keen to get his career back on track and force his way back into the England team after just 355 minutes of game time in the league this year.
