Following our 1-0 defeat to Liverpool last weekend, we face another tough test today as we travel to take on title-chasing Manchester City.
The teams are in ahead of the 4.30pm kick off at the Etihad, seeing us line up as follows:
STARTING 11: Dubravka – Krafth, Lascelles, Burn, Targett – Guimaraes, Longstaff, Joelinton – Almiron, Wood, Saint-Maximin.
SUBS: Darlow, Dummett, Schar, Trippier, Manquillo, Ritchie, Murphy, Gayle, Wilson.
So, Eddie Howe has made THREE changes from the side that lost last Saturday, seeing Jamaal Lascelles, Sean Longstaff and Chris Wood replace Fabian Schar, Jonjo Shelvey and Joe Willock.
The good news is that Callum Wilson and Kieran Trippier are BOTH back on the bench for the first time in 2022, however Shelvey and Willock are both absent from the matchday squad.
Here’s the side Pep Guardiola has selected, seeing the likes of Gundogan, Grealish and Sterling replace Bernardo Silva, Foden and Mahrez:
