Agent drops intriguing Eddie Howe claim when asked about NUFC’s interest in La Liga winger

Arnaud Danjuma’s agent has suggested Eddie Howe could help Newcastle United attract the Villarreal star to St James’ Park this summer.

Speaking on Spanish radio this week, Michael Moses – the player’s representative – was asked about reports in the UK linking the winger with a potential move to Tyneside.

His response was an intriguing one, seeing him claim “the presence of Eddie Howe can help” – presumably due to the fact he signed the 25-year-old at Bournemouth back in 2019 – and also stated there was a “50% chance” he’ll leave this summer.

This all comes after The Mail reported that we were ready to up our interest in the Dutchman after watching him closely over the second half of a season that’s seen him bag an impressive 16 goals.

When Cadena Ser’s Radio Castellón asked Danjuma’s agent what he made of the Newcastle links, he had this to say in response:

“The presence of Eddie Howe can help”

When quizzed on the likelihood of Danjuma leaving Villarreal in the coming months, Moses said:

“There is a 50% chance that Danjuma will leave this summer.”

Another one to watch this summer, especially if Howe still has a good relationship with the man he brought to English football a few years ago?
