Newcastle to announce pre-season training camp abroad amidst a busy summer window

As reported by Luke Edwards, Newcastle will soon finalise the plans for a training camp in Cincinnati, USA in July with friendly games to be held in the States.

The club will announce the full plans later this week, ahead of a very busy summer window in which the owners are hoping to enjoy a revamp of the squad and prepare for an important season.

Eddie Howe and his team have already enjoyed two warm weather camps in this calendar year alone – a trip to Saudi Arabia in January and a trip to Dubai in March.

After the initial camp in Saudi Arabia, the team then went on to win five out of their next five league games, boosting us out of the relegation zone and showing a newfound togetherness along the way.

No doubt Howe and his staff will be looking for the same kind of reaction as they prepare for the beginning of next season in August – hopefully with a few new faces too.
