Eddie Howe robbed as Liverpool fans win the day in the end of season vote
The Premier League have announced last night that Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp has won the manager of the season award over Eddie Howe, Pep Guardiola, Thomas Frank and Patrick Vieira.
While the Merseyside club have done exceptionally well all season, Eddie Howe will feel hard done by after his tremendous effort to lift a club many had written off in December all the way to 11th.
An argument many will use against Howe is his January spending - around £90million - but his greatest achievements came from improving the players who were already at the club.
Looking at the likes of Joelinton - our player of the season - Ryan Fraser and Emil Krafth, the 44-year-old has completely turned around their Newcastle careers after many fans were willing to depart with the trio.
It is unfortunate that the Englishman has missed out on the award, but his efforts across the last six months have been recognised and praised by many footballing experts and he will hope for an even better second season.
