NUFC quoted ‘€15-€20m’ fee as club consider bargain move for Juventus midfielder – Report

Italian outlet Tuttosport have claimed that Newcastle are interested in Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, with a fee of around €15-20m though to be enough to ‘satisfy’ the European giants.

The 27-year-old has been a key member for the Turin-based club, making 32 Serie appearances in a disappointing season that’s seen them claim the final Champions League spot in 4th.

Since his debut for the French national team, the former PSG man has featured quite often for Les Bleus, winning 26 caps in total and helping them to conquer the Nations League back in October 2021.

As The Old Lady plans a more sustainable financial structure, they would be willing to let the Frenchman leave this summer due to him being one of the club’s top earners – only behind Matthijs De Ligt and Paolo Dybala.

Chelsea, following the completion of their takeover led by Todd Boehly, have also claimed interest in the central midfielder with both clubs prepared to battle it out for his signature.

  1. No doubting the lads quality & that at that fee it would be seen as a bargain – the question mark would be over his character.

Howe has made it clear that any new recruit is as important in the dressing room as on the pitch.
