Another day, another new name linked with a potential summer move to St James’ Park.
This time, it’s PSV Eindhoven’s Noni Madueke who has been mentioned, as 90min report that we are one of several Premier League sides tracking the 20-year-old.
They claim that Tottenham, Everton, Leeds, Leicester and Wolves have also shown interest in the London-born winger currently impressing out in the Netherlands.
Madueke is an England U21 international who has been catching the eye of Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate, according to 90min.
The former Spurs Academy graduate left to join the Dutch giants in 2018 and has gone on to make 70 appearances for the club, bagging nine goals and six assists last season.
He could be one of several exits at PSV, who are also receiving plenty of interest in Coady Gakpo; a left-sided attacker who could be a smart alternative to Hugo Ekitike, as it happens.
With it widely reported that we’re looking to sign a right winger this summer, Madueke could be another option on our long list of potential targets.
