According to The Telegraph, Chelsea are pushing to sign Raheem Sterling and Raphinha for a combined £100m.
Should that double deal go through, you’d expect a couple of wingers to become available at Stamford Bridge; something that could appeal to a Newcastle United side seeking a new wide man.
The two who come to mind are Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Both are right wingers falling further down the pecking order under Thomas Tuchel, yet they could offer Eddie Howe the sort of spark we currently lack in that area of the pitch.
Some reports suggest Ziyech could be available on loan with an obligation to buy at £20m. He may be 29, but this sort of deal could appeal to a Newcastle United side aiming to add quality without breaking the bank.
There’s no doubting the Moroccan’s quality. He has a wand of a left foot and was tearing it up on the Champions League stage with Ajax before sealing a £36m move to Stamford Bridge two years ago.
Like Ziyech, Hudson-Odoi is another player who could shine at Premier League level if given the game needed to his his stride. He’s had his injury issues, but probably needs a move to realise his potential and will be eager to play regularly as a 21-year-old with England ambitions.
If Chelsea do spend big on new wide men this summer – whether that’s on Sterling, Raphinha or someone else – would you like to see Howe take a look at Ziyech or Hudson-Odoi?

Pulisic favors playing from the left but plays from both sides and center with Chelsea and the USA national team. He has a very high work rate. He would be a perfect fit.
