Toon target ‘left out’ of pre-season tour – Surprise boost for NUFC and player to push for exit?

According to reports in his homeland, Newcastle United look set to receive an early boost in their pursuit of Chelsea forward Armando Broja.

Albanian outlet Ora News claim that Blues boss Thomas Tuchel does NOT plan on including the striker in their pre-season tour of the US, meaning he could be allowed to leave sooner than expected.

It was widely reported that he’d be given a chance to impress this summer, with it recently said that Tuchel wouldn’t sanction any move – whether that be a permanent exit or a loan – until he’d taken a good look at him in training.

However, Ora News report that the player will ask to leave Stamford Bridge immediately should he be left out of their pre-season camp, allowing the battle to commence over his signature much earlier than expected.

Newcastle, West Ham and Everton are all believed to be keen on the 20-year-old, who has also attracted interest from Napoli and Ajax.

Hopefully these claims coming out of Albania are true and we can convince the player to join, with it appearing as though he is Eddie Howe’s preferred alternative to Hugo Ekitike.
