According to The Mail, Newcastle United target Dominic Calvert-Lewin is looking to leave Everton this summer.
The England international has been linked with a move to Tyneside for a few months now, although both The Athletic and The Telegraph report that we’ve been quoted a whopping £60m for his services.
However, it remains to be seen if the Toffees’ demands will reduce if he is now pushing to leave Goodison Park – and it seems they’ll need to if we have any chance of landing the 25-year-old.
On the subject of Everton and strikers, the Northern Echo report that Frank Lampard’s side are preparing to launch a bid to sign Armanda Broja on a permanent deal.
The Albanian is a loan target of ours – a move that would free up funds to land Bayer Leverkusen’s Moussa Diaby – however the player himself isn’t keen on another temporary switch, meaning Everton have emerged as a ‘serious rival’ in our attempts to land the 20-year-old.
So, like Lucas Paqueta – who is believed to want out at Lyon – it seems Calvert-Lewin is also pushing for a move away, which in turn could be the reason the Merseyside club have upped their interest in Broja?
