They report that the right-back is currently in Spain seeing a specialist after picking up an injury.
As a result, he’s believed to be an early doubt for the opening weekend of the season – although some believe he could be moved on by Eddie Howe after Emil Krafth’s form saw move behind the Swede and Kieran Trippier in the pecking order.
The 28-year-old didn’t feature in any of our final eight games last season, missing out entirely in our final two fixtures after picking up chickenpox.
