Chelsea beat Newcastle to the signing Premier League wonderkid as £1.5m deal is agreed

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have beaten Newcastle to the signing of Southampton youngster Tyler Dibling – the teenage sensation who scored a stunning hat-trick at St James’ Park last season.

The Blues will soon confirm the signing of the England U17 international for £1.5million, with The Athletic also revealing that he’ll head to Stamford Bridge despite interest from Tyneside.

Last season, the Saints wonderkid had nine goal contributions in the U18 Premier League and worked his way into their U23 side on multiple occasions where his hat-trick against us went viral for all three goals being almost identical.

The highly rated 16-year-old attacking midfielder was targeted by the Magpies earlier in the window as the club looked to boost our youth ranks and start to develop talent as part of our new long-term project.

Deals for youth players Jordan Hackett, Alex Murphy and Charlie McArthur have already been confirmed in the last month, but it looks as though Dibling won’t be joining them in the North-East.

  2. Fair comment Chelsea ren we’ve never produced enough local players we should’ve done for the football mad area it is but your Cockney friend Ashley had a huge factor in that as well as that slime ball pardew who potentially had some good young ones and done nothing with them also when the ones you have produced are fit to clean nevermind lace Paul Gascoigne boots you’ve got an even bigger argument
