Sky Sports in Germany have confirmed that RB Leipzig have agreed a deal to sign Toon target and RB Salzburg star Benjamim Sesko.
They report that they’ll sign the teenage sensation for just £20million – suggesting mates’ rates between the two Red Bull clubs – and expect him to join the Bundesliga season next summer.
This comes after The Northern Echo suggested that Newcastle were ready to submit a £25million bid but it looks like yet another target destined to sign elsewhere, with fellow target Timo Werner also heading to RB Leipzig.
The 19-year-old has also been heavily linked with Manchester United and Chelsea in recent days, yet he is seemingly happy to remain in Austria for another season before confirming a move to the Bundesliga in 2023..
