Newcastle United now approached by Amazon, despite rejecting ‘several’ offers – Report

According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle are currently being lined up by Amazon to be the subject of their next ‘All Or Nothing’ footballing documentary.

Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal have now all been subject to the behind-the-scenes TV show, and Amazon are eager to make the Magpies their next venture, despite the club having already rejected ‘several offers’ from production companies.

While many fans would be intrigued to see just how much has changed at the club following the Saudi-backed takeover, the disruption caused by the intrusive cameras may not be welcomed by head coach Eddie Howe, the club’s hierarchy or the playing squad.

The biggest issue for Howe, who seems a very focused and determined coach, could be the distractions the show may cause and whether or not he believes it may derail what he has been building here on Tyneside.

The proposal would be to start filming next season in order for it to be released in two years time, but, given the very sensible approach taken by the new hierarchy so far, it will be interesting to see if the offer is accepted.
