Newcastle battling AC Milan, Juventus & Atletico Madrid to sign £57m man on loan – Report

According to The Mail, Newcastle United face stiff competition in their bid to sign Christian Pulisic in the final few weeks of the window.

They report that Chelsea are listening to loan offers for the 23-year-old, however AC Milan, Juventus and Atletico Madrid have joined ourselves in the queue for the winger.

The Mail reveal that our new owners have built up a ‘close relationship’ with Blues bosses – Amanda Staveley and Mehrdad Ghodoussi were invited to Stamford Bridge for Sunday’s 2-2 draw with Spurs – however we face a battle to bring the former Borussia Dortmund star to St James’ Park.

The player is said to prefer Champions League football, but is ‘eager’ to get a run of games between now and the World Cup in November – where he will be a key figure for the USA after they qualified for Qatar.

Pulisic has only managed 31 minutes of Premier League football this season and would be a superb signing for Eddie Howe if we could beat a host of European giants to his signature on loan, being the sort of pacey right-winger with an eye for goal that we’ve been crying out for.
