Newcastle United have announced that our friendly against Al-Hilal on Thursday December 8th will be available to watch on NUFC TV completely free of charge.
The squad flew out to Saudi Arabia on Sunday for a warm-weather training camp, resuming our preparations for the second half of the season following a six-week break due to the Qatar World Cup.
The Magpies will play the Saudi Pro League champions on Thursday 5pm (BST), with the players also due to attend a meet and greet event with fans at Hyatt Regency in Riyadh on Wednesday.
The Riyadh-based club feature a couple of former Premier League players in Matheus Pereira and Odion Ighalo, while ex-Porto striker Moussa Marega also plays for Al-Hilal.
Supporters will also be able to see behind-the-scenes content across the club’s website and social media channels, giving an insight into the player’s experiences during the trip.
Thursday’s game will be the first of two mid-season friendlies over the coming fortnight, as we’re due to face La Liga side Rayo Vallecano at St James’ Park on Saturday, 17th December.
