Eddie Howe gave little away – and had the press room laughing – when responding to Allan Saint-Maximin’s latest transfer tip.
A few days ago, the winger urged the club to make a move for fellow Frenchman Marcus Thuram, describing the recently linked forward as a “great player” and “incredible guy.”
According to The Athletic, the Borussia Monchengladbach star has been discussed in recruitment meetings, with reports in Germany also reporting on our interest.
However, Howe refused to say much when quizzed on the 25-year-old this morning, but did call Thuram a “top player” and “one of the ones” he watched during the World Cup.
