Newcastle offered Juventus midfielder – Club interested on a ‘loan-to-buy’ basis – Report

Newcastle United have been offered the chance to sign Juventus midfielder Weston Mckennie, according to new reports.

90min claim that we are receptive to a deal for the 24-year-old, but only if the Serie A giants agree to let him go on an initial loan which includes an option to buy at the end of the season.

Despite being a regular in the team for Juventus – he’s made 21 appearances in all competitions this season – it seems the Turin-based side are now looking to move him on.

The USA international has reportedly been offered to a number of Premier League clubs with Leeds, Aston Villa and Newcastle said to have ‘responded positively’ to the offer.

It is thought, however, that Leeds are trying to push ahead with a deal, as Fabrizio Romano revealed that Mckennie is prepared to sign at Elland Road if the two clubs can reach an agreement.

Due to their financial situation – a loss of €250m in the last year – Juventus could be forced to move on a host of key players. A club to watch for Newcastle if we wish to pursue any cut-price deals, perhaps?
