Sky Sports: Agents in talks over surprise Newcastle exit as club line up late move for Mag

According to Sky Sports in Italy, AC Milan are discussing a surprise move for Allan Saint-Maximin.

Gianluca Di Marzio – Sky Sports’ chief reporter covering all things Serie A – claims that ‘agents and intermediaries’ have been talking to AC Milan about the Frenchman after the Italian giants identified the 25-year-old as an ideal plan B to top target Nicolo Zaniolo.

Ironically, Zaniolo has been heavily linked with Newcastle in recent days and in previous windows, as Calciomercato reported earlier this week that we’ve had a ‘loan-to-buy’ bid rejected by Roma.

Back to ASM, Di Marzio is told that our valuation of the winger is ‘very high’, with an asking price well in excess of £30m being placed on the player’s head.

This isn’t the first time ASM has been linked with a possible move to the San Siro this week, yet it seems some conflicting information is doing the rounds regarding his future, as The Telegraph’s Luke Edwards rubbished suggestions of him leaving St James’ Park this month in a tweet on Wednesday.

As revealed by Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol, sources in Italy believe former Toon target Christian Pulisic is another option of AC Milan, alongside Saint-Maximin:
