Former NUFC flop caught selling cup final tickets for £2,000 each – Newcastle fans disgusted

Former Toon striker Nile Ranger has received a lot of criticism from Newcastle fans after posting on social media that he had 100 tickets for the cup final for sale for over £2000.

The reselling of tickets at increased prices has been a huge topic of conversation over the past few weeks with many fans desperate to get to Wembley and willing to pay small fortunes for it.

But to have a former player essentially exploiting fans of the club who used to pay his wages is incredibly disappointing, and yet not at all surprising.

The 31-year-old, who is currently without a club, has had off-the-field issues throughout his entire career and had his time on Tyneside cut short because of behavioural problems.

Ranger even spent time in jail in 2017 for fraud while playing for Southend United, so it really isn’t a shock to see him trying to profit from others desperation.
