Co-owner issues cup final plea as brilliant clips emerge of Newcastle fans in London

Newcastle United co-owner Mehrdad Ghodoussi has sent a rousing message to Toon fans travelling to London on the eve of our huge Carabao Cup final clash with Man Utd.

He’s urged fans to “turn Wembley into St James’ Park” tomorrow, asking supporters to sing their hearts out and “wave those scarfs”, with Wor Flags also set to be on hand to deliver a display in our first domestic final since 1999.

Ghodoussi insists Newcastle fans “are the 12th man on that pitch”, believing we can be the difference ahead of what promises to be a tough test against Erik ten Hag’s in-form Red Devils.

A host of brilliant videos have already emerged on social media of the Toon Army travelling to London. Central station was packed was a sea of black and white this morning, there’s been Toon chants on trains and Trafalgar Square awaits for hours of pre-match celebrations later on today.

Here’s Ghodoussi’s message to those making the long trip, followed by a few brilliant videos that have already emerged from the capital:

To all our away fans who have traveled to London, let’s turn Wembley into St James’ tomorrow.

Sing your hearts out and wave those scarfs.

We are the 12th man on that pitch.

HWTL.
