Spurs suffer another injury – At least 4 players set to miss crucial Newcastle clash on April 23rd

Tottenham may be above us in the table as things stand, but they’re in a bit of a mess both on and off the pitch as we head into the final stretch of this top-four battle.

After Antonio Conte’s departure and confirmation his former assistant – Cristian Stellini – will take over for the remainder of the season, Spurs have suffered another injury blow.

Emerson Royal has damaged his knee playing for Brazil and will require surgery and a six-week layoff, meaning he has joined the list of players who look set to be injured for their trip to Tyneside next month.

Rodrigo Bentancur is out for the season along with fellow midfielder Yves Bissouma, defender Ben Davies has been ruled out for over a month, Richarlison limped off in their last league win over Southampton and wing-back Ryan Sessegnon has an unknown return date.

Hugo Lloris is back in training and likely to play at St James’ Park in just over three weeks time, although he’s been out of sorts this season and was at fault for opener when the two sides met in October.
