Watch Alexander Isak's assist, disallowed goal and lightning pace in Sweden's 5-0 win last night
Alexander Isak had a helping hand in Sweden's 5-0 win over Azerbaijan last night, bagging an assist in a lively display from the Newcastle United striker.
It was a big night for his country, who lost their opening Euro qualifier 3-0 to Belgium on Friday, but they responded with an emphatic victory on Monday.
As the official highlights show below, Isak had a goal disallowed for offside on the 28-minute mark then came close to an assist with half an hour to play after a lovely turn and pass to play in Emil Forsberg down the left. Then, five minutes later, his assist did come thanks to a blistering turn of pace and ball across the box that Bahlul Mustafazada couldn't help but turn into his own net.
All in all, a productive night for Isak and positive one for Newcastle, as our club-record signing came off with 20 minutes remaining, meaning he should be injury free and raring to go ahead of Sunday's clash with Man Utd.
