After last night’s draw with Leicester secured a top-four finish, I’ve spent the entire morning consuming all the brilliant content that’s emerged from St James’ Park on social media.
We have Joelinton hijacking Dan Burn’s post-match interview with his own rendition of the Champions League theme tune, boyhood fans Sean Longstaff and Jacob Murphy visibly emotional as they chat to NUFC TV and fan recordings of Eddie Howe and Graeme Jones punching the air with joy in celebration!
The scenes inside the stadium were just magical after the full-time whistle. Sheer joy on and off the pitch and a moment to savour after 20 years away from THE biggest competition in club football.
