New footage shows Howe get emotional and Saint-Maximin’s special moment with fans – Video

Footage of our celebrations after the final game of the season has emerged showing Eddie Howe giving a rare emotional reaction to the crowd while Saint-Maximin showed his appreciation for the away support.

The boss has quite often been a calm and level-headed presence both on and off the pitch, but even he joined in with the celebrations as one of the most incredible seasons in recent memory drew to a close.

There have been rumours that ASM could be departing in the summer – a few heartfelt tweets have left supporters wondering – but his connection with the fans and desire to succeed at this club makes those suggestions hard to believe; especially now we’re in the Champions League.
