Newcastle offered £26m winger and Toon scout spotted watching striker – Report

According to The Chronicle, Newcastle have been offered the chance to sign Ferran Torres for £26m and it has been revealed that we sent scouts to watch Viktor Gyokeres at the Play-Off final.

Barcelona are desperate to cut down their wage bill and they currently view Torres as a sellable option, valuing him at a reported €30m.

It remains to be seen whether Howe would would be keen on him, but it’s thought the former Man City winger wouldn’t be against a return to the Premier League.

Lee Ryder also confirms that we’ve been watching Coventry’s star man Gyokeres; who looks destined for the Premier League after the Sky Blues lost out on promotion to Luton in the Play-Off final.

Scout Mick Tait was at Wembley watching over the Swedish forward following his 22 goals and 12 assists over the 2022/23 season.

There will certainly be a lot of competition for the 24-year-old, with Brentford also thought to be keen.
