Following news that Gambian talent Yankuba Minteh will become Newcastle’s first summer signing, we’ve found some exciting footage of the 18-year-old talent in action.
As revealed on Friday morning, the Odense star – who currently plays in the Danish top flight – will seal a £6m move to St James’ Park and looks likely to spend the 2023/24 season out on loan.
The youngster has enjoyed a rapid rise to Odense’s first team after being signed for their Under-19s back in 2022 and making his professional debut just a couple of months later.
It is certainly an encouraging start to our transfer window and hopefully just one of many young and promising talents that we will pursue under the guise of Dan Ashworth and co in the very near future.
