Miguel Almiron makes it 3 goals in 3 days for Toon trio – Watch goal in Paraguay win here

Miguel Almiron made it three goals in three days for our Newcastle United lads on Sunday afternoon.

After 11 Premier League goals over the 2022/23 season, Miggy struck in the 73rd minute of Paraguay’s 2-0 win over Nicaragua at Estadio Defensores del Chaco.

It was a tidy finish from the 29-year-old, who made a darting run down the left before sliding past the goalkeeper and into the far corner.

This makes him the third Mag to find the net over the weekend. Callum Wilson scored from the spot in England’s 4-0 win over Malta on Friday night, while Joelinton marked his Brazil debut with a first half goal in their 4-1 victory over Guinea on Saturday.

Watch Miggy’s strike below, his first for his country in 2023:

Joelinton and Bruno are back in action on Tuesday, where Brazil take on Senegal in their second friendly of the summer.

Wilson will also be hoping to add to his Three Lions tally on Monday night, as he, Kieran Trippier and Toon target James Maddison face North Macedonia at Old Trafford in our latest EURO qualifier.
