Sky Sports 'breaking news' - Livramento passes medical and final fee to Southampton confirmed
Sky Sports have confirmed that Tino Livramento has passed his medical on Tyneside ahead of his imminent move to Newcastle United.
In a 'breaking news' update on Monday morning, Keith Downie claims that the fee agreed is an initial £31m that will rise to £36m via performance-related add-ons.
The 20-year-old was pictured at St James' Park over the weekend, with the full-back spotted in the stands to watch our Sela Cup wins over Fiorentina and Villarreal.
Livramento will become our fourth signing of the summer, taking our spending beyond the £100m mark following moves for Sandro Tonali, Harvey Barnes and Yankuba Minteh.
His signing on a long-term deal should now be announced imminently, giving Eddie Howe another right-back and an exciting young talent to learn from and eventually replace Kieran Trippier.
