Newcastle officials spotted at Champions League tie to watch exciting winger – Report

According to reports, Newcastle scouts traveled to watch teenage sensation Roony Bardghji in Copenhagen’s dramatic win over Manchester United last week.

Jeunes Footeux claim that club officials from Newcastle and Brighton were both in the stands to take a look at the 17-year-old, who ended up scoring an 87th-minute winner in a famous 3-2 victory over the Red Devils.

The 17-year-old is one of the most exciting young talents in Europe right now, scoring seven goals in 14 league appearances for the Danish giants and 11 in all competitions.

He’s already been nicknamed the ‘Swedish Messi’ and looks destined to seal a big move in 2024, especially after his goal last week announced himself onto the Champions League stage.

Since Dan Ashworth left Brighton for Newcastle, it’s clear we’ve placed a big emphasis on recruiting some of the worlds most exciting prospects and Bardghji is exactly that. Watch his superb cameo agaisnt Man Utd below:
