Isak, Miley & Livramento all start vs Man Utd – Team news from St James’ Park

The teams are in ahead of tonight’s 8pm kick-off at St James’ Park, where we take on Manchester United live on TNT Sports.

Here’s the side Eddie Howe has gone with, along with a subs bench that features several youngsters once again:

STARTING XI: Pope – Trippier, Lascelles, Schar, Livramento – Miley, Guimaraes, Joelinton – Almiron, Isak, Gordon. 

SUBSTITUTES: Dubravka, Karius, A Murphy, Dummett, Krafth, Hall, Ritchie, Diallo, Parkinson.

Lewis Miley makes his third-straight Premier League start after impressing at PSG, Alexander Isak leads the line once again and Tino Livramento continues at left-back. After his yellow card against Chelsea last weekend, Kieran Trippier will be suspended for next week’s trip to Everton if he’s booked here.

Matt Ritchie and Emil Krafth return to the squad after both were ineligible for our Champions League game in midweek, but 11 remain out; Sean Longstaff, Joe Willock, Sven Botman, Harvey Barnes, Callum Wilson, Elliot Anderson, Jacob Murphy, Dan Burn, Matt Targett and Sandro Tonali.

Man Utd XI: Onana, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Shaw, Dalot, Mainoo, McTominay, Fernandes, Garnacho, Rashford, Martial.
