Fabrizio Romano hints at Bayern move that could keep Kieran Trippier on Tyneside
Fabrizio Romano has issued a three emoji update on Twitter suggesting Bayern Munich are pushing ahead with a move for PSG’s Nordi Mukiele after their latest bid for Kieran Trippier was turned down.
Romano's tweet indicates that Bayern have not moved on from Mukiele - who was the German club's primary target before they switched their attention to Trippier. The deal for the Frenchman is reported as "on".
It comes after news from the Mail's Craig Hope that Bayern's permanent offer for Trippier was a "low-ball" and dismissed immediately by Newcastle.

"NUFC don't want to sell. Player happy to stay & is not trying to force move," Hope said in a Monday night tweet.

Trippier was reported as a target for the German champions on Friday and conflicting suggestions about the player's willingness to move emerged.
The Toon vice captain is viewed as an important leadership figure inside the club and it is believed the club want to recoup the fee they paid for the England international two years ago to even begin to consider a sale. As it stands, Hope suggests that there would need to be a big "turnaround" if we are to expect any movement on this deal.
Trippier is Newcastle's most creative force this season, with seven assists in the Premier League.
