Winger Antony Gordon has been nominated for January Goal of the Month (vote here), while goalkeeper Martin Dubravka has received two nominations for the Premier League’s Save of the Month (vote here)
Gordon has been selected for his wonderful strike against Manchester City, which gave us a 2-1 lead after going 1-0 down in the first half. He received the ball from Dan Burn by the halfway line before driving forward, cutting inside and curling the ball past three City players into the bottom corner.
Dubravka pulled off an amazing save in the same game, landing him a nomination for Save of the Month. A first-touch volley from Bernardo Silva forced the Slovakian into a two handed save, pushing the ball into the post.
His second nomination comes from the New Year’s Day clash with Liverpool, where he did superbly to parry Darwin Nunez’s close-range effort. Watch both saves below, along with Gordon’s stunning goal against Man City:
