Bookies release top 4 and top 6 odds after big weekend for Newcastle, Man U, Spurs & Villa

It's been another eventful weekend of Premier League football, where Newcastle United boosted their hopes of a top six finish, while other European rivals also pulled off important wins.

Our 3-2 victory at Nottingham Forest saw us leapfrog Brighton - who lost 2-1 at Spurs in stoppage time - and West Ham - who were battered 6-0 by Arsenal - while Aston Villa slipped up against at home thanks to a 2-1 defeat to Man Utd.

Wolves were just one point behind us heading into the weekend's fixtures, yet they suffered a 2-0 defeat at home to Brentford.

After gaining three points on Aston Villa, Brighton, West Ham and Wolves, the Sky Bet have us at 2/1 to seal a top six finish and qualify for the Europa League. However, with Spurs still 11 points clear of us in 4th, the bookies price Newcastle as 20/1 outsiders for the top four.
