Newcastle offered chance to sign exciting midfielder eyed by Arsenal and Chelsea – Report

According to The Chronicle, Newcastle United have been offered the chance to sign 19-year-old Ivory Coast talent Mario Dorgeles.

The highly-rated teenager currently plays for FC Nordsjaelland in the Danish Superliga and is believed to be attracting interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.

Interestingly, Dorgeles shares the same agency as current Newcastle United youngster Garang Kuol; the Aussie attacker currently on loan with Dutch side FC Volendam.

The Ivorian is a central midfielder who has made 22 appearances at senior level this season, featuring four times in the Europa Conference League against the likes of Fenerbahce and Ludogorets and Spartak Trnava.

Lee Ryder reports that Newcastle are aware of his incredible work rate and ball-winning ability, with former sporting director Dan Ashworth made aware of his availability before he was placed on gardening leave.

Nordsjaelland have a strong history of producing quality talents, with West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus and Brighton’s Simon Adingra impressing at the Danish side before sealing moves to the Premier League.
