TEAM NEWS: Howe makes TWO changes at Chelsea – Confirmed line-ups

The team sheets are in at Stamford Bridge, where Newcastle United take on Chelsea in tonight’s Monday Night Football live on Sky Sports.

Here’s the side Eddie Howe has gone with for the 8pm kick-off:

STARTING XI: Dubravka – Livramento, Schar, Botman, Burn (c) – Longstaff, Bruno, Willock – Almiron, Isak, Gordon.

SUBS: Karius, Lascelles, Ritchie, Targett, Krafth, Murphy, Anderson, White, Miley

As expected, Tino Livramento comes in at right-back against his former club, replacing the injured Kieran Trippier at right-back, with Miguel Almiron coming back into the side at Jacob Murphy’s expense.

Elsewhere, Joe Willock starts in midfield once again alongside Bruno Guimaraes and Sean Longstaff, keeping Lewis Miley on the bench.

Matt Targett is also on the bench after recovering from a long-term hamstring injury, replacing the ineligible Lewis Hall, but Harvey Barnes misses out with a minor hamstring injury.

Chelsea XI: Petrovic; Gusto, Disasi, Chalobah, Cucurella; Caicedo, Enzo; Palmer, Gallagher, Sterling; Jackson.

Howay the lads!

  1. Hope the ref keeps an eye on Caicedo as he is one dirty player, got away with one on Gordon in the Carabo cup.
