‘Season over’ nonsense, Howe not helping himself & top target identified? – New podcast!

The NUFC Blogcast is back for another week, as me and Ed look back at Saturday night’s FA Cup defeat to Man City, look ahead to our international break plans and where we go next after another cup exit (Listen here or press play the play button below).

In today’s episode, we start by reflecting on our performance at the Etihad, which was improvement on Chelsea in part but ultimately not enough to unsettle at Man City side who didn’t have to get out of second gear.

I discuss Lewis Hall’s promising cameo, concerns over Tino Livramento and Sven Botman, along with the obvious lack of confidence in our team at present.

We hit back at the baffling social media claims that our ‘season is over’, put forward our argument for securing European football, share our latest poll of the week and answer your Twitter questions.

Last but not least, we discuss the upcoming trip to Dubai, an odd end-of-season friendly and reports that we’ve identified our top target to replace Dan Ashworth.
