Newcastle United loanee Yankuba Minteh continued his impressive run of form over the weekend, delivering an assist in Feyenoord’s 3-2 win at Heerenveen on Sunday.
The 19-year-old cut in from the right and delivered a brilliant left-footed cross that was headed in at the back post (watch it below) to make it four goals and one assist in his last four Eredivisie appearances.

It’s been a brilliant few weeks for the teenager, who has been in superb form since returning from another great experience at AFCON, but his stats for the season are hugely encouraging. In just 11 league starts, he’s managed seven goals and three assists, also featuring in a Dutch cup final and scoring in the Champions League.
Whether he goes out on loan next season remains to be seen, but it’ll be interesting to see how we gets on over pre-season after such a productive spell with Feyenoord.
