Newcastle United are back in action at St James’ Park tonight, as Eddie Howe’s Mags take on Sean Dyche’s Everton.
Keeping in mind injuries and Saturday’s 4-3 win over West Ham, here’s the side I can see us going with and why:
Predicted line-up: Dubravka – Trippier, Schar, Burn, Hall – Bruno, Longstaff, Willock – Murphy, Isak, Barnes.
Tino Livramento and Miguel Almiron look set to miss out after limping off a few days ago, while Jamaal Lascelles (ACL) and Anthony Gordon (suspended) are ruled out.
Lewis Hall was superb on Saturday and will surely come in at left-back, with Dan Burn replacing Lascelles in the middle. At right-back, I’m backing Kieran Trippier to return after he trained on Monday, but it’ll be Emil Krafth if he can’t make it.
Harvey Barnes will surely start down the left and Jacob Murphy seems like the only option on the right. In midfield, Elliot Anderson has made a case to come in after impressing from the bench, although I think Howe will stand by Willock, providing he’s fit enough to go again.
