Newcastle star eyeing Crystal Palace return and Sela make brilliant move – Craig Hope

According to Craig Hope at The Mail, Kieran Trippier is expected to return for our trip to Crystal Palace later this month.

He reports that the right-back is facing another three weeks on the sidelines and looks set to miss our next two league games against Fulham and Spurs, but hopes to be back for our midweek trip to Selhurst Park on Wednesday 24th April. Elsewhere, Tino Livramento and Miguel Almiron have been ruled out for a month.

Hope has also revealed that we’ll be wearing a one-off jersey in our home clash with Spurs a week on Saturday, with Sela donating their front-of-shirt sponsorship to charity in a brilliant gesture from the Saudi events company.

Sela signed a £25m-per-season deal with Newcastle last month and will announce the chosen charity closer to the game, due to take place on Saturday 13th April (12.30pm kick off).

It’s believed our front-of-shirt sponsors have always been keen to donate the shirt space for an important televised game against one of the ‘big six’ and discussions have taken place for several weeks.
