According to reports, Newcastle United remain keen on Leeds winger Crysencio Summerville and recently sent scouts to watch Peterborough talent Ricky-Jade Jones.
Starting with Summerville, Jacque Talbot at FootballTransfers claims that Newcastle, Liverpool and AC Milan are all showing an interest in the Dutchman after an outstanding season in the Championship that’s seen him bag 18 goals and nine assists in all competitions.
Talbot first revealed our interest in the 22-year-old back in January and reports that we’ve continued to track the winger, with Eddie Howe keen to sign a versatile attacker who can play down both flanks.
Leeds will push to tie him down to a new contract should they seal promotion back to the Premier League, but there’s ‘no guarantees’ he’ll stay following interest from elsewhere.
As for Ricky-Jade Jones, The Sun’s Dan King claims Newcastle United had scouts watching the 21-year-old in action during Sunday’s EFL Trophy Final at Wembley.
The winger has 11 goals and five assists this season and has caught the eye thanks to his electric pace and pressing, running 100 metres in 10.9 seconds.
