Following the news that he has signed a new long-term contract, Joelinton has shared just how happy both he and his family are in Newcastle and how it was the ‘best decision’ to renew.
In a 10-minute interview with NUFC TV (watch below), the Brazilian international spoke very highly of the club and its supporters, despite not getting off to the best of starts to his Newcastle career.
Joelinton had huge praise for Eddie Howe and his decision to change his position which helped to unlock this incredible version of the midfielder we see week in week out.
The 27-year-old described his boss as a ‘great man’ and a ‘great character’ who has really helped him from day one coming into the club, as well as all of staff he brought with him.
The former Hoffenheim man also joked about how his son is picking up a Geordie accent and recently told his dad that he wants to live in Newcastle forever, so it’s fair to say they’ll be sticking around for a while yet!
