TNT Sports have released Eddie Howe’s post-match interview from St James’ Park moments after today’s 4-0 win over Spurs.
The boss reveals Bruno’s yellow card promise after he picked up nine bookings in his first 20 games, insisting he would not receive another and avoid a two-match ban. 11 games later, he’s done exactly that!
Howe was full of praise for our performance, discussed his man-for-man approach in a bid to stop Spurs, hailed the “incredible” Fabian Schar and Elliot Anderson; one of the unsung heroes from our stunning 4-0 win.
He also hailed a number of our squad players who’ve come in and one superb jobs for the team and feels we are edging closer to our best form after back-to-back clean sheets and 10 points from a possible 12 over the past four games. Watch what he had to say below:
