Player keen to join Newcastle United to work with Eddie Howe – Report

According to Craig Hope at The Mail, Toon target Tosin Adarabioyo is keen to join Newcastle United this summer as he prepares to leave Fulham on a free.

It’s believed he is ‘leaning towards’ a move to St James’ Park, with the prospect of working under Eddie Howe a key factor that appeals to the centre-back.

Hope insists that the 26-year-old and his representatives are currently considering a host of Premier League and overseas offers, but it sounds like we’re in a strong position to sign the 6ft 5′ defender, as things stand.

Howe’s ability to improve players will no doubt appeal, along with the fact Adarabioyo has a clear route to game time now Jamaal Lascelles and Sven Botman are likely to miss the remainder of 2024 with ACL injuries. The fact we are currently on course to offer European football would also appeal, although nothing is decided yet on that front.
