Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Newcastle are attempting to sign highly-rated Arsenal talent Amario Cozier-Duberry.
With the winger out of contract this summer, Romano reports that the club have submitted a proposal to offer the teenager an end-of-season move to Tyneside.
It’s ‘not a done deal’ yet, as Arsenal are still in talks over a new contract, while ‘several European clubs’ have also approached the exciting England U19 international.
In a post on X just moments ago, Romano said: ‘Arsenal are still in talks with talent Amario Cozier-Duberry as contract negotiations have not collapsed yet. Newcastle want him and made a proposal but not done deal yet, several European clubs are approaching 2005 born talent. No final decision yet.’
Cozier-Duberry has bagged nine goals and five assists in 17 Premier League 2 games this season, also scoring twice in four UEFA Youth League outings for the Gunners and three in eight England U19 caps.
