Newcastle closing in on TWO signings despite Liverpool, Milan and Spurs talks - Report
It sounds increasingly likely that soon-to-be free agents Tosin Adarabioyo and Lloyd Kelly are on their way to St James' Park this summer.
According to a new report from the Evening Standard's Nizaar Kinsella, Newcastle are now in advanced talks to sign both and look set to beat a host of Premier League rivals to their signatures.
He reveals that Adarabioyo has spoken to Spurs, Liverpool and AC Milan after informing Fulham he will not be signing a new deal, but looks set to end up on Tyneside after being impressed by the project on offer.
It's believed ACL injuries to Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles have seen Newcastle act quickly in our search for defensive reinforcements, with Howe also expected to be reunited with Kelly - who he signed for Bournemouth - despite rival interest from Spurs and AC Milan; two clubs who were also tracking Tosin.
The Mail's Craig Hope has also revealed that we submitted our offer to Adarabioyo over the weekend and hope to conclude a deal quickly, while Fabrizio Romano reports that we're confident of striking early deals for both after talks progressed.
